About Me
Ms. Marsha
I'm trained in CPR and First Aid. I have been taking care of children since I was 13 years old. I have worked in a Mother’s Day Out Program (2-3 yr olds), as a Sunday School Teacher (2 yrs - 1st Grade), I was in charge of the AWANA Program at our church (3 yrs - 6th Grade), and I temporarily worked at an off-site program for the Y.M.C.A. (infants - 5 yrs).
I have always wanted children and God has blessed me with two (2) of my own. My son is 13 yrs old, in the 8th grade & my daughter is 10 yrs old, in the 5th grade.
My favorite Seasons are Fall and Spring. I love seeing a happy, curious child, who's eager to learn about their environment around them. I can't help but smile knowing that I am able to make a difference in shaping children's lives. I believe everyone has a purpose in life and mine is to love and teach children.
I have a Listed Family Home with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, where a Completed Background Check is on file.
I have a clean Driving Record, with no accidents, and I have Full Coverage on my 2006, Honda, Odyssey.
I have Child Care References with names and phone numbers of people that I have worked for and with.
I provide a Registration and Parent Manual Packet, which outlines my Ark of Love Home Childcare Operations and Procedures, as well as a Daily Activities Sheet.

NUTRITION:
- I provide breakfast and two (2) snacks a day with milk or juice.
- I will need you to provide their lunch.
- I have a mini refrigerator and a microwave in the classroom for keeping things cold and warming them up.

FACILITIES:
- I have a large classroom, with a wide variety of educational, fun toys and centers. There are Home, Reading, Music, Puzzle, Lego, Vehicle, and Community Dress Up Centers, plus more!
- I have individual cubbies and back pack/coat racks for the children's personal items.
- I also have a separate room for story and nap time.
- I have a bike with training wheels, trike, wagon, balls, sidewalk chalk and other fun stuff and ride on toys for outside play.
- There is a playground area with climbing structures, slides, and swings in the subdivision.

MY HOURS ARE:
Monday - Friday
7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
I will be closed for Thanksgiving ~ Nov. 26 & 27, Christmas Eve/Day ~ Dec. 24 & 25, and Spring Break ~ March 15 - 19.
I will remain open for all other holidays and in-service days.
